The rigid hull, deck and transom are fabricated with an infused resin construction method  using "E" glass and vinyl ester resins with all cores of PVC foam (no organic materials used).

The craft are approved under the standards and specifications presented by the uniform principles and rules for rescue boats adopted under SOLAS 1974/83 and the Interim Guidelines for the U.S. Coast Guard Approval of Rescue Boats for Merchant Marine Vessels.  Additionally, they are typed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
