The Ocean Sprint 4.8m SOLAS approved rescue boats are rated under the SOLAS regulations for a capacity of six persons. This refers to the hoisting weight meaning that the boat can be hoisted with six persons on board. They meet the SOLAS speed requirement of six knots fully loaded with a 25 horsepower outboard engine, have seating for five persons, and room for one person lying down.
