As concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to rise, our intent is to inform but not alarm. As such, we wanted to share information about how we’re handling COVID-19 and its influence on life and business operations at OceanTech.
Like you, we are continuously following the CDC’s developments regarding the spread and impact of the virus. We appreciate the trust you place in us and we hope you know that the health and safety of our customers, partners, colleagues and employees is our top priority. Our company is working within the CDC’s recommended guidelines, as well as following the guidelines and requirements of the health departments in the regions in which we operate.
We have taken proactive measures to ensure operational effectiveness should circumstances intensify. Some of these actions include updating travel policies, encouraging remote work and promoting healthy hygiene habits. We encourage our clients and our employees to avoid in-person meetings whenever possible, as we have the tools and resources necessary to arrange for virtual meetings (via phone, video conferencing, etc.) whenever needed. We also encourage those in high-risk categories to avoid visits to our offices at this time. In the case where it is necessary for our employees to enter your facility, we will contact you prior to entering the location to ensure all proper safety precautions are in place.
