Destruction To Restoration

Global Partnership

Coral Restoration Foundation™

Coral Restoration Foundation™ is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring coral reefs in the Florida Keys and beyond.

The organization employs innovative techniques such as Coral Tree™ Nurseries and active restoration of genetically diverse reef-building corals to restore damaged reefs.

Their efforts have resulted in the return of hundreds of thousands of critically endangered corals to the wild, contributing to the growth of healthy reefs and supporting the resilience of these ecosystems.

Coral Reef Alliance
The Coral Reef Alliance works at local, regional, and global levels to keep coral reefs healthy, so they can adapt to climate change and survive for generations to come. As one of the largest global NGOs focused exclusively on protecting coral reefs, the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) has used cutting-edge science and community engagement for nearly 30 years to reduce direct threats to reefs and to promote scalable and effective solutions for their protection.
4Ocean
Their mission is simple: to end the ocean-plastic crisis by removing trash from oceans, rivers, and coastlines — one pound at a time — and raising awareness about plastic pollution. They deploy full-time captains and crews year-round to recover plastic waste, and fund cleanup efforts through products like bracelets made from recycled materials; each sale supports removing waste from marine environments. Their broader vision: a world free from plastic pollution, where oceans thrive and future generations inherit a healthier planet.

General Impact

As experts in electronics refurbishing and recycling, we have a unique opportunity to contribute to this cause by offering customers the option to donate any IT hardware that can be sold and reused, with part of the reimbursement going towards the restoration of coral reefs.

Restoration

Coral Restoration Foundation™ grows corals in offshore Coral Tree™ Nurseries, and then rehomes them on carefully selected sites. The condition of the coral outplants is being monitored in collaboration with academic institutions.

Education

It is vital to engage all communities into the process of saving coral reefs. Education programs at Coral Restoration Foundation™ such as presentations, internships and dive-programs are designed to do just that.

Science

Research and innovation are at the heart of all the work that is being done. Coral Restoration Foundation™ works with individual researchers, as well as U.S. government agencies, universities, NGOs and others.
