Description:
The Lead Generation Associate (LGA) will primarily focus on developing qualified leads by prospecting for new accounts using multiple business development tactics such as cold calling, emailing, and others assigned by the VP of Sales. The LGA will qualify leads by having conversations with key decision makers at prospect companies and setup next step meetings/phone calls with an OceanTech expert.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Make 80+ calls daily
- Maintain ERP/CRM as updated information is obtained
- Remain knowledgeable about all organization’s products and services
- Provide ongoing pipeline management and forecasting updates as requested
- Consistently reach goals set for specific lead generation tasks within a team based environment
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Education: Associates degree with a business, technology or communications emphasis
- A minimum of 2 years inside sales or business development experience (technology a plus)
- Experience making a high volume of calls to current or prospective customers
- Energetic and high quality team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of IT hardware technology is strongly preferred
- Experience working within a commission and quota structure; history of meeting and/or surpassing goals and quotas
- Proficiency with desktop computers; MS Office, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM experience preferred
